My garden is on the coast in Dyffryn Ardudwy – Wales. I am very lucky, as it is somewhat sheltered from the strong westerly winds, although wind is one of the challenges of gardening by the coast.
Living by the coast – affords some shelter and we do not have too much frost and very little snow.
The garden and house have been here for years – but we have only been here for less than 2 years, and we are still in the stage of re-creating.
The first year we cleared rubbish, put in paths and built the vegetable garden with raised beds.
This year we will start landscaping and planting the bottom of the garden – although the plan for this is still in my head!
Just found this site whilst on Blotanical – you really do have some beautiful photography on here – will take some time to visit properly later on… bon courage! Miranda
We came very close to visiting Wales about 5 years ago. We ran out of “vacation time.” I’ve always felt we missed seeing some very special countryside. After seeing your photos, I KNOW we did.
Have mentioned you on today’s post (21st April) for ESTHER IN THE GARDEN in relation to the questions you raise about Skimble and Jess.
Hope this is ok and that you enjoy the account of meeting with VP.
