What a strange flower! Great WW photo!
I just learned about this flower recently on another blog. That one was white with just a trace of pink. The photo is great!
It looks to be hand crafted. So beautiful.
Nigella in pink eh? I have a white one, think its called ‘Gertrude Jekyll’, but unlike its name sake, its a profligate breeder and has been quite promiscuous with its blue relatives!
Lovely photograph as always though. I think I shall have to get myself a DLSR sooner than later.
Hmmmmmm – love it.
Looks like a parade float! 🙂
Lovely pic – nice to see one that isnt blue
Such a good photograph of one of my favourite flowers. I love them too, when they are dried.
Thank you. (You will understand even if the others don’t!!)
A stunning photo, Karen! You are blessed with a gifted eye.
Who are the others?
Gorgeous flower, wonderful shape an patterns.
Great shot of a lovely flower!
This is so beautiful Karen! You have an artist’s eye!
Wow! What a beautiful flower and a great photograph!
You have some stunning photos. I love the poppy and the poppy pods.
I need to try the nigella next year. I’ve seen photos and it looks really pretty. Oddly, I’ve never actually seen it in anyone’s garden.
Oooh, pink nigella! What a wonderful photo 🙂
This is a truly wonderful photo. Not only is it beautiful in its own right but it also invites us to look more closely at a common flower and to see it in a new light.
LOOSE AND LEAFY
I had these in blue. Didn’t even know they came in other colors!
