May 2008. I enjoy the comments that you leave. Now that the days are longer and the weather is better I spend less time at my computer, so I will respond to your comments either in the comments, or by popping along to your blog to say Hello. Thanks for visiting. Karen -

Looks delicious…and nothing tastes quite as good. Well done!
Hi Nancy - You are right there is nothing quite like veg from the kitchen garden - thank you for the comment.
Karen
My brother and his wife made me a delicious salad today, various baby salad leaves, chopped freshly cooked smoked bacon and lemon and balsamic vinegar dressing, YUM!
I also convinced him of my idea, drew him a couple of sketches for layouts, and will post him a scale plan, and planting plan later in the week, result! optimists 1, skeptics 0
Optimists 1 - Skeptics 0 - I call that a good result. That salad sounds lovely Zoe.

Are you sure you don’t have a job taking photographs for the front of seed packets?
It all looks very edible.
Hi Easygardener - I was moaning here
about veg never looking like the seed packets - so your comment was much appreciated.
Karen
That was quick, you beat us by a couple of days I think, maybe tomorrow’s lunch with the ‘little gems’
Ah but Sharon you have got chooks now - so you can have an egg salad!
Karen
Maybe I will try to grow some salad next year. Or, will the slow worms eat them? Oh dear, the plan will have to change again.
I think it would be great if you grew salad - I think the slow worms will eat the slugs that would eat the salad
Regards
Karen
It all looks so fresh and delicious! Enjoy the fruits of your labour to the fullest…
Thank you Amy - One of the things I like about leaves from the garden is that I know they have not been “gassed” like those bags of salad leaves from the shops
